Thank you for visiting our website and showing an interest in DTS. Choosing seminary may seem overwhelming at first but this will be the beginning of a new chapter in your life, one that is guided by the Holy Spirit. I knew that I wanted to attend seminary, but I did not know how or where – I allowed God to take over and He started opening the doors to DTS. I was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa and know what it is like to make some huge life changing decisions and leaving my comfort zone; I want to encourage you to trust that the will of God will not lead you where His grace cannot keep you.

I have not regretted my decision to come to DTS for my ministry training. I am in my third year in the ThM degree program and the experience has been unforgettable as well as a time of maturing academically and spiritually. I have learned to depend more on God than on my own abilities. I have a great appreciation for the way our professors teach and the encouragement that I have received from them. My decision to come to DTS has been life changing because I was blessed to meet my wife Olga, who is from Russia and just graduated from DTS with a ThM in cross cultural ministries in May 2008. We are planning to go back to Cape Town South Africa where we will plant and pastor a church that integrates the diverse population of the people in Cape Town. We are passionate about ministering God’s truth into the lives of people and believe that our training that we are receiving at DTS will adequately prepare us for the ministry that God has called us to.

You will not be disappointed in choosing DTS for your ministry training. I am excited about being able to help you with any of your questions that you might have as you consider attending seminary. Go ahead and take that next step!
