Worked in Admissions since: Well, initially May 2006-August 2008. I left for a brief hiatus but have been back since November 2008. I missed my team!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about DTS! My husband and I visited DTS in March 2006 and couldn’t wait to return. We moved in May 2006 from Alabama and have loved it. We did not know a soul in Dallas but the Admissions staff and everyone at DTS made us feel like family the minute we walked on campus. We truly feel blessed to be able to call Dallas home and to be around the wonderful student body of DTS.

What are your hobbies or outside interests?
Playing with my precious daughter, Emerson Kate. Hanging out with my husband, Cary, shopping, watching tv, learning to sew.

What made you decide to go to DTS?
My husband and I felt the Lord leading us to seminary. Our pastor was a DTS grad and no other school compared. We visited for Discover Dallas and felt right at home!

What do you do on your day off?
Laundry(sometimes), play with my dog Beanie and hang out with my husband, Cary and daughter Emerson.

What are your favorite foods?
Well, I love fried pickles. If you have never had them you have to try them! Also, anything Greek. I loooove tsatsiki sauce and pita chips. And anytime is a good time for chocolate chip pancakes.

What was your major in College?
Finance with a focus in real estate.

What is your favorite television show of all time?
Scrubs and Lost

What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
The team of people that I work with have the most ministry minded hearts and gracious attitudes ever!

What is your favorite piece of literature?
It really depends on what I’m reading at the time. Right now I’m reading Spirit of The Rainforest and it’s pretty interesting.

What is your favorite musical artist/group/genre of music?
Caedmon’s Call and Jason Mraz

Who is the person you admire most and why?
My husband!

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Ruth for her faith

If you could have superhero powers, what would they be?
Definitely flying. It would be very practical and awesome!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I have never been to Greece or New Zealand but I think I could be happy in either. They are gorgeous!
