Thanks for stopping by the Admissions Team page. If you’re looking for someone to walk with you through the questions, fears, excitement and anticipation regarding the Chinese online program, please contact us and we will do the best to help you out.

I think it is truly God’s blessing for DTS to open up the learning opportunity by setting up the Chinese online Certification program to Chinese. I know many people will be able to get equipped through this program from all over the world. How exciting it is! I am so glad that I can help out the Chinese online program while I am studying at DTS.

What are your hobbies or outside interests?
Traveling, singing, do activities with friends, watch movies with my husband

What made you decide to go to DTS?
I came to know the Lord kind of late in my life and I want to know Him more and serve Him. So I waited for His calling and tried it out for two semesters by taking online courses. The desire to study full time got so strong that I decided, with my family’s support, not to look for a new job after ending my formal job at a company near my house. So, here I am. It is tough but it is also worth it. God is in control of my life and I want to just follow His will.

What do you do on your day off?
Spend time with my family. I also pick up the ministries I have at my church and just enjoy being with people. I love to listen and talk with people.

What are your favorite foods?
I love Chinese of course but I also love Sushi, Tom Yum soup, and basically any food on the table.

What is your favorite television show of all time?
I don’t really watch TV but I think I watched one TV program with my kids and we all loved it. It was "24 hours." My son even set the ring tone from “24 hours” on my cell phone.

What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
I love the people here at the Admissions office. This is a group of people that I know so far who are filled with love, energy and anything you need.

What is your favorite piece of literature?
Well, it is in Chinese, Poetry of the Tang Dynasty. It is something that you can only get to by your feelings and there are no words that can be communicated. (Please think about it in Chinese so you will understand what I am talking about.)

What is your favorite musical artist/group/genre of music?
Do I have to name it? I love all the songs that God has created through human beings. I love anything that can make a sound. But I also favor the traditional music.

What was your major in college?
Mathematics and my favor subject was Topology.

Who is the person you admire most and why?
There is one person I admire most and he is my husband. He accepted me the way I was and loved me more after I changed since I met Jesus. I can point out a lot of things that he needs to improve but he always keep silent when talking about things I need to improve. He has a lot of characteristics that I admire. I love my children too since they pick up some of the characteristics from him.

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Paul is the one I love the most since I read about him soon after I became a Christian. I love him also because he is a risk taker, just like me. He likes to travel and meet people. I love everything he did back then and hope I can do the same.

If you could have superhero powers, what would they be?
The power to feed every hungry person...The power to erase the unkind words that accidentally come out of my mouth. The power to love people...yes, anyone, sweet or not.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I may change my mind next time you read this message but for now, I would love to live in a small cabin surrounded by bamboo on a mountain in Taiwan.
