Welcome to DTS! I'm very glad you have decided to visit our site. I am a current student here at DTS, and I have thoroughly been enjoying my studies during my time here so far. I'm very excited for the opportunities that await me after I graduate, as I feel God has used this school to prepare me for the challenges ahead. I would love to help you begin your journey here at DTS, so if you have any questions about the process of beginning your seminary degree please give me a call or come visit us!

My entire experience at DTS has been wonderful, but I have especially enjoyed the teachings that have been given to me and my fellow classmates through the professors and chapel sessions. The professors at DTS are very dedicated to their students and want them to be prepared for the roads and challenges that they will face after they graduate. Not only are they excellent in helping you understand the Bible and helping you communicate it well, but they are also very concerned about your spiritual life and your relationship with the Lord. The professors are very personable and approachable, and it has made my experience at DTS very fruitful.

So…please feel free to come visit us our give us a call here at DTS, we would love to help and serve you!

What are your hobbies or outside interests?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and our puppy, and I also love playing sports and watching them. My favorite sport to watch is football, and my favorite sport to play is soccer.

What made you decide to go to DTS?
I had a college pastor who very positively influenced my life towards Christ, and he was a graduate of DTS.

What do you do on your day off?
I spend time with my wife, go to the dog park with my puppy, read, watch movies, play games, and catch up on sports.

What are your favorite foods?
I love all kinds of pizza, specifically pepperoni pizza and a dessert pizza my wife makes called strawberry pizza. I also love hamburgers, wings, and tacos; all foods I shouldn't really eat too often.

What was your major?
Christian Leadership

What is your favorite television show of all time?
Firefly. I primarily love it because I watched the entire season with some of my friends and we had a great time watching it, but I also love it because it's a lot of fun.

What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
The people I work with! I have thoroughly enjoyed the people I have gotten to work with while being here in the admissions office.

What is your favorite piece of literature?
The Brothers Karamazov. To be honest I'm still in the process of reading it, but what I have read so far has been wonderful.

What is your favorite quote?
“God still responds to people who in brokenness simply say, 'Jesus, help me!' - Mark Young

What is your favorite musical artist/group/genre of music?
I really love hymns and the language they use to describe God. “And Can it Be” and “A Mighty Fortress is Our God” are some of my favorites. I also enjoy Lecrae, and guitarists like Andy McKee and Antoine Dufour.

Who is the person you admire most and why?
A person I admire is my college pastor, Bernie. At college he would meet with a group of us guys really early in morning and take time to invest in us spiritually. He would answer questions about the Bible, but he was also concerned about our growth in Christ.

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
My favorite Bible character is Jonah. I like him not because I admire him, but because I learn a great deal in his story and disobedience about God's grace.

If you could have superhero powers, what would they be?
I liked what Meteor Man could do: touch any book and know everything in that book, practically and intellectually. But, I would want to be able to retain what I get from the book for the rest of my life, instead of just a few minutes.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
In America, I would love to live somewhere in Florida, near my family. Outside of the U.S.A. I would like to live in Japan, somewhere close to the water, but near a church where my wife and I ministered.
