Welcome to DTS-virtual style! I never stepped foot on the DTS campus until I drove 33 hours from the coast of Maine to start my first semester. Just like you are now, I learned about DTS by browsing through the website and talking to some incredible people from Team Admissions. What a privilege to now be a part of their family!

When I applied for the Masters of Theology program, I did so with a desire to provide theological education to the next generation of leaders, particularly women. With each class, conversation with a professor, and relationship outside the classroom, that desire has only grown. DTS is the complete package: comprehensive Biblical and theological training (where else do you study all 66 books of the Bible?), combined with commitment to original languages and specialized ministry training. Becoming a student at DTS was the last thing I expected or wanted for my life. Yet God's dream for me was so much greater than I could have imagined and continues to be so. In His amazing grace, God took my application fee and a small measure of faith, and has taken me on a life-altering adventure called Dallas Theological Seminary.

I'd love the opportunity to chat with you and hear your story of how God's working in your life. As you prayerfully consider Seminary, shoot me an email or give me a call. I'm here to serve you!

What are your hobbies or outside interests?
Baking, beach-combing, photography, Netflix junkie, hiking, reading, and travel - anytime, anywhere.

What made you decide to go to DTS?
An acute awareness that I didn't have the necessary tools needed for the ministry to which God was leading me.

What do you do on your day off?
Sleep-in, clean, grocery shop, bills, laundry, with a little sale-rack shopping for fun.

What are your favorite foods?
Carbohydrates of any kind! But, how could I pass up my Mom's pot roast, a great Maine red hot dog roasted over an open fire (only those from Maine will truly understand the greatness) or authentic Indian curry?

What is your favorite television show of all time?
ALIAS, LOST, The Cosby Show, NCIS

What is the best part about working in the DTS admissions office?
The overwhelming sense of family, the freedom to be uniquely me, and the privilege to love on people and get paid for it.

What is your favorite piece of literature?
The Hiding Place, Corrie ten Boom and The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexander Dumas…two of many!

What is your favorite quote?
“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen—not only because I see it, but because by it, I see everything else.” –C.S. Lewis

What is your favorite musical artist/group/genre of music?
The playlists that remain on repeat are mixes made by friends summing up life experiences together. They include everyone from Norah Jones, The Carpenters, Billy Joel, Zac Brown Band, Andrew Peterson, The Beatles, Travis Cottrell, Josh Groban and U2.

Who is the person you admire most and why?
My Bubby (the nickname I gave my Dad at age 2) and sweet Mum. My parents have lived authentic, faithful ministry before me every day. They never allowed me to be pegged as a PK and since childhood have cultivated a desire for the Word and kingdom in me. They love me enough to allow me to fall, and are constant in each season of life.

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
The unnamed woman with the issue of blood-a risk-taking, Jehovah-believing, culture-breaking, wicked cool woman.

If you could have superhero powers, what would they be?
Invisibility. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a bucket of invisible paint that allows you to get you out of those incredibly awkward or intense situations?

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Anywhere that I can see or hear lapping ocean waves.
