Philip F. Humphries

Adjunct Professor in Educational Ministries and Leadership

B.S., Virginia Tech, 1975; Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary, 1986; D.Min., 1997.

Dr. Humphries majored in public administration in college and worked for 7 years as a tax auditor before God called him into full-time ministry. After earning his Th.M. in Christian Education from Dallas Seminary, he has worked as an associate pastor of church education at a church in Virginia, and as director of small group development and later executive pastor at Scofield Bible Church in Dallas. He is currently pastoring a new church in Richardson whose focus is reaching the unchurched, the unsaved and those who desire significant life-change that comes only from a relationship with Jesus Christ. His wife, Kim, is an adjunct teacher in the counseling program at DTS.
