Dana Barber

Dana has served in the Foundation and Advancement departments at DTS since 2001. “I enjoy getting to know people who desire to support the mission of Dallas Seminary,” she shares. “It is a delight to help them establish meaningful gifts and to express gratitude for their generosity.” Her career has always emphasized excellence and customer service. Prior to joining DTS, Dana worked 12 years as a Systems Engineer at IBM, then joined UT Southwestern Medical Center and the University Hospital where she served as their Director of Guest Services and Community Relations. Dana greatly values the excellent teaching of God’s Word she has received at DTS and from DTS alumni. She enjoys studying and teaching the Bible, cooking, reading and travel. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma and then received a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from SMU. Dana is married to Jeff Barber, the Executive Director at a local church.
